I haven't seen Day of the Animals in years...but I remember very clearly that when I first saw it on its initial release, I really enjoyed it; and like others here, much more so than Grizzly.

I have fond memories of sseing this on a double bill with "The Car". I even had the poster on my bedroom wall. It's terrific fun and boasts another great lalo Schifrin soundtrack.
